Tear Trough

Tear trough filler is great for restoring volume loss under the eye and helping reduce dark circles under the eye. It is a great alternative to having a surgical procedure which can be expensive and have associated risks. Tear trough fillers can last a long time, usually over a year. Here at Kent House Dental Clinic we use either Restylane or Juvederm, depending on the goal of treatment and patient preference. We can use either numbing cream or local anaesthetic injections before treatment to minimise discomfort. Procedurally we use either a fine needle or a cannula (blunt tip which is inserted under the skin to minimise bruising). Dr Dipen Patel generally uses a cannula in this area as there is much less chance of bruising and causing damage to surrounding structures. Tear trough treatment can work well in combination with cheek filler.
