GDC: 141399 Katharine qualified from King’s College Dental Hospital in 2008 with a dual qualification in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy.
She accepted a postgraduate position at Kings College Dental Hospital and St George’s Hospital working alongside specialist consultants in restorative, periodontal and maxillofacial clinics. Here, she gained invaluable experience treating a wide range of patients with complex medical and dental conditions, as well as nervous and phobic patients. She also supported patients requiring intricate surgery for facial and oral implant procedures and oral cancer.
Katharine went on to work with one of the world’s leading orthodontic teams specialising in lingual braces at The London Lingual Orthodontic Centre where she became skilled in oral health and hygiene during orthodontic treatment. In 2010, she won best speaker at the European Orthodontic Conference for a presentation titled The Complete Care Of Patient’s Oral Health Before, During And After Their Orthodontic Journey.
Katharine is passionate about providing a personal approach to care, treating patients in a way that fits with their lifestyle, capabilities and comfort. She has had articles published in Smile Magazine and The British Dental Journal.
