What is All-on-4?
All-on-4, also known as ‘Smile in a Day’, enables us to provide you with a brand new smile after just one visit to our practice. It is an alternative approach to the more traditional dental implant procedure, and consists of a fully fixed and permanent bridge of replacement teeth attached to four carefully positioned implants.
The All-on-4 method uses similar screw implants to the alternative method, but they are inserted into your jaw in a unique way, at a specific angle. This way, more bone is used to hold the implant, which provides extra support for your replacement teeth. The exact positions of your implants are strategically planned to give the very best result, with no need for any disruption to treatment or prolonged gaps in your smile.

At your initial consultation, we discuss the All-on-4 treatment procedure with you, letting you know what to expect and making sure we give you the chance to ask us any questions. Using our advanced digital technology, we plan accurate and optimum places for your four to six implants.
Placing your implants
We place your implants into the carefully planned positions in your jaw, using local anaesthetic to minimise your discomfort. We can also use sedation if you are worried or anxious about treatment.
Your new smile in a day
Once your implants are in place, we attach your custom-made bridge on top to complete your new smile! Your new teeth are fully fixed and supported, and look beautifully natural. We give you some tips and advice for looking after your teeth and leave you to enjoy them. In most cases, we invite you back to the practice 3-4 months later for a check-up and to replace your bridge with a permanent and long-term one.
