What is involved in a smile makeover?

From beautifully simple teeth whitening to a complete transformation with veneers or adult orthodontics, we can offer a range of appealing treatments to sort out your cracked, crooked or dull-looking teeth. Boost both your smile and your confidence with our help.

During an initial consultation, we thoroughly examine your teeth and find out exactly what kind of improvement you wish to make. We may have to correct oral health issues, such as gum disease and tooth decay before we can perform any cosmetic treatments. However, once your mouth is fit and healthy, we can start the smile-enhancing process.

Which treatments can I have in a smile makeover?

Studies agree that the smile is usually the most important and best-remembered feature when we meet a new person. A smile makeover doesn’t just transform your mouth, it could change your life! Treatments may include any of the following:

Teeth whitening – safe, gentle lightening to brighten up dull-looking smiles.

Veneers – a natural-looking, minimally invasive way to transform your teeth.

White fillings – designed to offer a less obvious repair for damaged teeth. They can also be used to replace existing amalgam fillings.

Crowns – a durable way to mask all kinds of defects and strengthen damaged teeth.

Bridges – custom-made to fill in any gaps in your smile.

Dental implants – a realistic, long-lasting and very aesthetic solution to missing teeth.

Dentures – effective and reliable solutions to fill in a few gaps or replace all your teeth.

Adult orthodontics – discreet braces and virtually invisible aligners offer more appealing ways to correct overcrowded, crooked, or gappy teeth.

As well as providing the most effective treatments, using the latest techniques, you can also rest assured that we will always deliver these with the highest standards of care.

How long does a smile makeover take?

The length of your smile makeover depends on the treatments we are using to achieve your incredible results. Certain treatments, such as teeth whitening, veneers, and composite bonding, take much less time than the work involved in teeth straightening or dental implants. We make sure you know the timescales for each treatment at your consultation and give you an idea of when you can expect your treatment to be complete.

Will a smile makeover hurt?

Your smile makeover shouldn’t hurt. Some treatments in your smile makeover are completely painless, while others may require us to use a local anaesthetic to make sure you remain comfortable during treatment. We are happy to discuss this with you at your consultation or any stage of your treatment.

How much does a smile makeover cost?

The cost for a smile makeover is different for every patient, based on the combination of treatments used and your preferences. During your initial consultation, we can give you a more exact cost for your personal smile makeover.

Can I choose the treatments for my smile makeover?

If you have an idea of the treatments, you would like us to include in your smile makeover, please let us know. We are happy to let you know if these are suitable for you and will achieve the results you are looking for. If appropriate, we will also recommend certain treatments you may not have previously considered. Our cosmetic dentists are highly trained and skilled and are happy to advise you.
